The summer program at Maine Township High School District 207 offers students opportunities to gain academic credit, receive enrichment or remediation and explore new interests. Summer school will be offered at all three schools this summer.
Summer School Dates are:
- Session 1: June 15 – July 2
- Session 2: July 6 – July 23
Registration will available in February. Incoming juniors and seniors may begin registering February 18th beginning at 7:30 a.m. Incoming freshmen and sophomores may begin registering February 24th beginning at 7:30 a.m. No snapcode is needed. Registration for non-credit recovery classes closes Friday April 24th. Any registrations received after non-credit course registration closes will be placed on a wait list. You will be notified should a seat become available. For credit-recovery courses, online registration closes May 29. After May 29, registration for a credit recovery class must be completed in-person at the student’s home school.
Please note the summer school calendar for 2020 starts a week later than in previous years since partner elementary school districts are not ending their school year until the week of June 8.The fees for summer school are: $110 for 1/4 credit course; $210 for a 1/2 credit course and $420 for a full credit course.
At Maine East drivers education classes will begin May 26 and run through June 17. Mandatory and permit testing begins on May 19.
At Maine West drivers education classes will begin May 26 and run through June 18. Classes will run Tuesday through Friday during the first Week and Monday through Thursday during the remaining three weeks.
At Maine South, drivers education classes will run from July 6 and run through July 23 and will include Fridays. Registration for Summer School Driver’s Education at Maine South will begin on March 5. Parents will receive an email with further instructions near the end of February. This schedule enables the three schools to share drivers education vehicles and avoid the need to rent additional vehicles.
