Brief Description of Program/Career Radiologic Technology consists of health care professionals, called Radiologic Technologists, who perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-ray examinations, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans and computed tomography (CT) scans. Some technologists specialize in cardiovascular-interventional radiography, sonography or ultrasound, and mammography.

Radiologic technologists are responsible for accurately positioning patients and producing high quality diagnostic images. Technologists work closely with radiologists who are the physicians who interpret medical images.
