Type of Program Certificate and Associate’s Degree
Brief Description of Program/Career Kendall’s two-year* associate in culinary arts degree fuses the art and science of cooking together with an introduction to restaurant management practices. Alongside rigorous culinary training, you’ll investigate some of the leadership and collaboration strategies you’ll need to excel in a career in food.

You’ll start by exploring the fundamentals of cooking, then move on to advanced culinary techniques and skills. You’ll apply your knowledge as you prepare food for Kendall’s on-campus venues, including our Zagat-rated, Michelin Guide–recommended fine-dining restaurant. This program prepares students to confidently enter any caliber of restaurant and to eventually step into roles of significant responsibility in the professional kitchen.

The Associate in Culinary Arts degree also includes 25 general education credits to build your foundation of learning.

After you earn your associate in culinary arts, you can complete your bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or hospitality management in only two years.*
