District 207 is a Community of Care

District 207 is a safe and caring place where all students should feel valued, supported and have a sense of belonging. Community circumstances may affect families differently. During times when students or families may be experiencing heightened stress, trauma or uncertainty, District 207 remains deeply committed to being a community of care. The safety and well-being of every student is a priority.

 
The district knows that students respond to stress in a variety of ways. Some may share their feelings openly, while others may become quieter, distracted or appear unsettled. All of these are normal reactions, and staff are prepared to support students academically, socially or emotionally. If your student is struggling, please reach out to your school’s Student and Family Services department: 
 
 
School staff can help provide direct support for students and can help connect families with community resources to ensure that students have what they need to thrive at school. 
 
Additionally, here are a few community resources that may be helpful for families seeking additional support:
