  1. Maine Township High School District 207 will receive bids for the Football Field Lighting Replacement Project at Maine South High School.
  2. A pre-bid walk-thru will be held on Thursday, February 26th, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Maine South High Attendance is highly recommended and failure to attend may be grounds for dismissal of bid. Meet at the main entrance to the high school.
  3. Bid opening will be on Monday, March 9th, 2026, at 1:30 PM, prevailing time at Maine Township High School District 207, District Office at 1177 South Dee Road, Park Ridge, Illinois Lump sum bids will be opened publicly and read immediately. Bids are due prior to the indicated opening time.

Contract documents will be electronically forwarded to all interested parties.

  1. A ten percent (10%) bid security will be required with the Bid security amount will be on the lump sum Base Bid price only. Bidder may submit bid security as a bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check made payable to the Owner as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into, and the performance of the Contract is properly secured.
  2. Bidding contractors must be able to perform a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of proposed work with their directly employed force.
  3. Successful Bidder will be required to furnish to Owner Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in the sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Bid, with sureties to be approved by owner. The Contractor shall be required to furnish sufficient insurance of guarantee of indemnity to the Owner, Engineer and Engineer’s Consultant(s) against any and all claims which might arise for damages to persons or property due to the negligence of himself, his employees or agents during the construction of said improvements and until the said improvement has been finally accepted as complete by the Owner.
  4. Bidder’s lump sum price shall be based on using not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and complying with the Illinois Equal Employment Opportunity laws.
  5. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding documents or procedures and to award the contract to a Bidder which best serves the interest of the Owner.

  1. Maine Township High School District 207 will receive bids for the MTHSD 207 Building Automation System Upgrades taking place at Maine South High School, Maine East High School, and Maine West High School.
  2. A pre-bid walk-through will be held at multiple locations as per the schedule below on Thursday, February 26th 2026:
    • Maine South High School – 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM CST
    • Maine East High School – 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM CST
    • Maine West High School – 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM CST
