The District 207 School Based Health Center (SBHC) can help students even when schools are in a mainly remote learning model. If you are a student at Maine East, Maine South, Maine West or Frost Academy, the SBHC can help with a lot of health related items.
The SBHC is offering “virtual visits” through your phone or computer for certain types of illnesses including:
● Painful urination
● Allergies
● Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
● Cold and flu
● Red eye
● Constipation
● Respiratory infections
● Cough
● Sinus infection
● Diarrhea
● Sore Throat
● Fever
● Sprains and strains
● Head lice
● Urinary tract infection in women
● Headache
● Vomiting
Also the SBHC has mental health counselors who can help talk with you about how you’re feeling through a “virtual visit” on your phone or computer. This can be with a one-time conversation, or continuing, as needed.
