Child abuse and neglect
District 207 employees are mandated reporters for child abuse and neglect under the Illinois Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act.
In the event that an employee thinks that a student has been abused or is being abused, he or she must then:
Gather as much information as possible about the situation.
Call CDFS (800.252.2873) to report (the caller needs to document the case number and name of the person that he or she speaks with).
Complete these two forms:
